October 30, 2003AdapCS announces Canadian software product release
AdapCS, Inc. of Marina, California has announced the release of the Canadian version of its new clinical outcomes software product, Inform.Rx. "This product has been heavily influenced by the product that we took to Canada for GE," says Dr. Larimore Cummins, AdapCS' Chairman. That product, DYNAMO, was rewritten for the Canadian market by AdapCS under contract with General Electric Medical Systems of Milwaukee, WI. The product enjoyed wide acceptance and experienced a successful pilot with the Ontario Hospital association, but in mid-2003 GE Medical Systems shifted its priorities and decided not to follow up the pilot with a full scale market release. "In response to market demand and with the blessing of GE, we have released our own clinical outcomes and financial reporting tool that is substantially equivalent to DYNAMO," adds Dr. Cummins. The product will be marketed by AdapCS Canada, a partially owned subsidiary of AdapCS, Inc.
"We look forward to responding to the rapidly growing interest in this product and at the same time will continue to meet the needs of current Canadian DYNAMO customers," comments Dr. Kurt Sligar, who serves as CEO for both AdapCS, Inc. and AdapCS Canada. AdapCS, Inc. plans to modify Inform.Rx for use in the US market some time in 2004.
