AdapCS Canada announces that its premiere wait list management system, Axcess.Rx™, directly enables hospitals to deliver on Ontario wait list initiatives. Axcess.Rx™ now supports automated data collection and reporting to Cancer Care Ontario as per the wait time data reporting requirements outlined in the Surgical Oncology incremental volume funding agreements.
Dr. Alan Hudson has indicated in a letter to hospital CEOs several ongoing initiatives to reduce wait times for key health services in Ontario. One such initiative is funded volume for additional procedures in key areas such as cancer surgery.
Dr. Hudson has made it clear that hospital boards and CEOs will be accountable for access management in their respective organizations. As part of incremental volume funding agreements, there are a series of wait time reporting conditions hospitals must meet to allow them to receive additional funding for procedures.

"We believe our wait list management solution allows them to deliver on the conditions set forth by the government in the most efficient way. Axcess.Rx™ has been deployed at Kingston General Hospital and Hotel Dieu Hospital in Kingston for 3 years. In that time administrators, physicians and users have praised its usefulness in the management of patients.
